  Very nice beach area best suited for family and small children. It does not matter if you want to stroll on the boulevard, walk on the beach, lay in the sand all day or have a lazy late lunch; you can do it all at Vendrell platja. The sea remains shallow for the first 50+ meters so it is perfect for children or playing games in the water.

  We stayed (2 adults + 2 children) in a Tropical Bungalow. It's a wooden house, located quite close from the entrance to the campsite ( 3 mins walk) - which is an advantage and very close to the railway - which is a disadvantage as it's quite noise when the train passes. The bungalow itself is OK - 2 small rooms with beds and wardrobe, very small, equipped kitchen, a living room and a bathroom. It's not a luxurious bungalow, but the value for money is very good (strong 4 stars from me!) The bungalow was equipped with an A/C unit ( working well), a roofed terrace and a nice, green area in front of the bungalow as well as a parking space for a car behind it. The campsite is located at the end of a town, so there is not much around, but there is a very good supermarket at the campsite with fresh bread etc and lots of stuff you may need during your stay. All the staff at the campsite has been very friendly. The restaurant was OK - again - nothing luxurious but good value for money. The swimming pool for adults and kids was OK as well and the animation team was superb! Very nice, friendly people, who I could easily talk in English to! They looked like they were really enjoying their work.The campsite is located 2 minutes from a wonderful beach, very wide, with fine sand and what's extremely important - not crowded at all! Very pleasant place! ( see google maps - street view!)

  Overall - we've spent very nice time in Vendrell Platja Camping and can recommend to anyone looking for this type of accommodation.

  Fantastic place to stay. Lively, basic but clean bungalows, great swimming pool and very helpful staff. Great security also. Thank you Vendrell Playa for our stay, we'll be back shortly

  Lovely place in beautiful surroundings. Suitable for every age, lots of activities provided in season, a minute walk from the wide and clean beach

  Within 1.5 km walk along a very nice promenade from the campsite there is the centre of the Calafell town, packed with tapas bars, restaurants, shops, banks and everything you may need.

  Nice camping Close to the beach, but the camping places Are very dusty , no grass at all.
